The Difficulties of Transitioning From the Traditional to the Non-traditional

Having spent the past five years endeavouring to write a traditional academic thesis, as a result of realising that the non-traditional research output (NiTRO) was actually a valid option, I (to use a heinously corporate weasle word) decided to ‘pivot’. It’s been a steep learning curve.
